    Ad format requirements

    FOR BILLBOARD LED SCREENS (BIG FORMAT 6M x 4M)

    General size:
    1000 x 652 pixels. (Landscape)

    Other sizes:
    Húsgagnahöllin (double width screen): 1536 x 512 pixels. (Landscape)
    Hlíðarendi #1&#2 and Dugguvogur: 640 x 480 pixels. (Landscape)

    File types: JPG or PNG

    Videos/animations: Not allowed

    Scripts/web banners: See sizes here above, landscape
    -> fully resizable/responsive, with a black background.  The banner must maintain its ratio.  A fallback image appears (usually a static background) if the banner can’t reach its content server.  Make sure the fallback image behaves in the same way like the main content in relation to rules like align-top or -center.

    Allowed images are of JPG or PNG format, maximum weight is 1 MB (preferably as light as possible)

    FOR BUZZ (LED SCREENS IN BUS SHELTERS)

    Size: 400 x 600 pixels. (Portrait)

    File types: JPG or PNG

    Videos/animations: Not allowed

    Scripts/web banners: See size here above, landscape

    Margin: 38 pixels from top or 6,4% – This margin is needed to make space for a real-time bus information banner on top of the screen,
    please note that the image always has to fill the specified dimensions (400 x 600 pixels) because
    the bus info banner is not present on all screens, please refer to illustrations here below:

    An image with no margin:  Seems OK but won’t work when the bus info banner is on top.

    Resolution: 40 dpi / RGB

    Bigger size: 125 cm X 182 cm (Portrait)

    Dimensions:

    Without bleed, visible area:  Breidd 11.75 m – Hæð 11,25 m (Portrait)
    With bleed: Width 11,90 m – height 11,40 m

    Bleed is only on the sides and bottom.

    Resolution: 40 to 50 DPI

    FOR POSTER LED RENTAL SCREENS

    Size:  256 x 768 pixlels (Portrait) for a single screen.

    For a video that covers 5 screens:  1280 x 768 pixels

    DESIGN GUIDE

    Keep your message short and to the point. Onlookers have limited time for reading.

    Use stark, easily identifiable visuals and keep the background simple.

    Use large, readable fonts. All-caps are not recommended and be mindful of character spacing (squeezed letters or too much space between letter makes the text difficult to read).

    Give your logo the space and size it needs.

    Keep in mind that the text will be read from various distances.

    Use complementary color combinations. Some combinations work better than others. There is a mathematical formula that can help you determine which colors work well together. The following chart shows contrast ratio between selected color combinations. Score above 70 means that the selected combination is acceptable.
